The McBride Family
The McBride family have been prominent pastoralists in South Australia for over 150 years. Fourth generation pastoralist, Albert James McBride purchased Tolarno Station in 1949. Albert's son, Robert McBride purchased Tolarno in 1997, and purchased the adjoining property, Peppora Station, in the following year. In 2011, Robert purchased Wyoming Station, which adjoins Peppora. Robert, wife Katharine, and children Kate and James continue to run the three properties.

As a director of AJ & PA McBride Pty Ltd, he has a wide range of experience working on South Australian and New South Wales properties, in all areas of the business. With a commitment to returning Australian wool to its prominent position, Robert is concerned with the whole production chain, including processing and promotion. |
Kate McBrideAs a fifth generation farmer there is no surprise from a very young age Kate has had a great interest in all things agriculture. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Adelaide as well as being a Healthy River Ambassador. Kate has strong views when it comes to water management and has done talks to schools and community events regarding the Darling River and Menindee lakes.
In 2017 Kate was elected by fellow landholders onto the Western Local Land Services (LLS) Board and is now the youngest board member since the organisation began.
